Trealy Farm is real. It’s in Wales, making charcuterie including chorizo. British chorizo sounds oxymoronic but makes perfect sense when you taste it. Pipers using Trealy chorizo is provenance that actually adds flavour meaning.

The chorizo character is prominent. Paprika warmth, pork richness, the particular spiced-sausage flavour that makes chorizo chorizo. It’s not Spanish chorizo. It’s Welsh chorizo. But the flavour profile is authentic to the concept.

On Pipers’ hand-cooked base, the bold chorizo seasoning finds appropriate support. These are substantial crisps carrying substantial flavour. The balance works.

Creative success

Chorizo crisps aren’t common. Pipers found a British chorizo producer and built a product around it. The creativity pays off with something genuinely distinctive.

One of the more interesting flavours in the Pipers range.
