Co-op bringing this to British convenience stores is a bold move. The flavour has cult status among those who know it, complete obscurity among those who don’t. It’s a bet on curiosity, on customers willing to try something they’ve never heard of.
The gamble pays off. All dressed works because all the component flavours complement rather than compete. The sweetness of BBQ, the tang of vinegar, the creaminess of sour cream, the tomato kick of ketchup. Layered together, they create something more interesting than any single flavour.
