I’m not sure whether this Minecraft special edition pack is the same as the usual Dorito’s vinegar option, but I’m going to guess so… reduced to 90p on the shelves is not the greatest sign either way.

At least these sit at the ‘dippable’ end of the Doritos range, rather than the coated on MSG-dust end.

So I wasn’t expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. The same simple corn-first profile of the Doritos Salted range, but with a good vinegar tang. Enough to make them interesting and please the salt and vinegar crowd, not so much as to induce a flood of saliva.

I don’t know why they are just vinegar and not salt and vinegar, I guess there is some salt but it doesn’t lead with it.

Overall a pleasant surprise. I can’t say I’d have them again as I’d choose another tortilla snack or a crisp-based salt and vinegar, but I wouldn’t pass them up if offered either.
